With Open Hearts We Prepare for Pope Francis
There is much excitement and anticipation for the visit of Pope Francis this September. A vital part of the preparation for the papal visit is catechetical preparation.
For those attending the World Meeting of Families (WMOF) in Philadelpia, a special preparatory catechesis has been developed. The USCCB Secretariat for Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth is offering a series of reflections on the official WMOF catechesis.
Even if you are not attending any event you can still reflect upon the beauty and joy of God’s plan and continue to learn and grow from the teachings of Pope Francis.

World Meeting of Families Prayer
God and Father of us all,
in Jesus, your Son and our Savior,
you have made us
your sons and daughters
in the family of the Church.
May your grace and love
help our families
in every part of the world
be united to one another
in fidelity to the Gospel.
May the example of the Holy Family,
with the aid of your Holy Spirit,
guide all families, especially those most troubled,
to be homes of communion and prayer
and to always seek your truth and live in your love.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
